Release of Final Windows Phone 7 Developer Tools


A new launch is announced later this year as Microsoft will bring out the mobile version of Windows 7. But the final version of the Windows Phone developer tools will come on the market on 16 September, announced the company on Monday.

Until now there have been a total of 300,000 downloads of the developer tools, says the director of Windows Phone 7, Mr. Brandon Watson. He also added that the first six months have have affirmed that a combination of Silverlight, XNA technology and great free tools based on the new Visual Studio 2010 and Expression Blend resulted in a very rich application platform. This has enabled the right approach from developers and designers of all levels who are in search of capitalize on the possibilities brought b Windows Phone 7.

The expected release on September will contain minor breaking changes from the filed of beta tools to some bugs that might arise, Watson added. There are included requested Silverlight controls and also the ability to bring up the panorama, pivot and also the Bing Maps control.
